By renting our yard card greeting, you agree to the following:
Ordering Info
- Price The price includes pre-delivery consultation, installation, removal and pick up of your yard greeting.
- Service Area We currently service Hendersonville, Flat Rock, and several surrounding small towns. For orders outside of our service area, a small delivery surcharge applies. We will notify you of any applicable surcharge with your total quote during booking.
- Payment We place an authorization on your payment method when you place your order. This holds the funds but does not collect them. After we review your order, verify our availability, and coordinate any necessary details with you, we’ll capture the authorized funds. We do not store your payment information. All payment information is transmitted securely to our payment processor, Stripe.

Rush Orders
Rush orders will be accommodated with the following conditions:
- Based on available inventory
- Rush fee may apply
- Orders placed within 24 hours of the requested event day are not guaranteed
- Order will be refunded if 828 Yard Signs is unable to fulfill the order
- Scheduling Please know that we cannot guarantee a specific set up or removal time for displays; all times given are approximate, however if you have a specific timing need, please let us know and we will try to accommodate your request.
- Refunds & Cancellation In the event that you need to cancel your order prior to the day of delivery, we reserve the right to retain half of your payment, or you have the option to reschedule for the full value paid. Cancellations made the day of scheduled delivery may not receive a refund. If errors occur on order submission, if the wrong address is given, or access is denied to a secure community, no refund will be issued. We will not refund the payment if the homeowner requests the greeting to be removed once the greeting has been delivered and set up. 828 Yard Signs reserves the right to politely decline orders that are political, controversial, lewd, disrespectful, or that do not fit the celebratory nature of our business. If an order is declined, a full refund will be given.
Before the Rental Period
- Photo of Area If possible, please send us a photo of the lawn area where the display will be installed so we can design a greeting suitable for your space.

Notify Homeowner
All 828 Yard Signs greetings are meant to be pleasant surprises. Please remember to notify the homeowner they will be receiving the greeting so the following arrangements can be made:
- Turn off their sprinkler systems during the rental period.
- Cancel or reschedule any lawn service during the rental period.
- Water Area Please water your lawn for approximately 20 minutes each day for 2 days prior to delivery (if it has not recently rained). However, please turn off all sprinkler systems for the duration of your scheduled setup.
- Poop Scoop Please clean up all animal droppings in the area you want the sign displayed.
During the Rental Period
- No Mow Please do not mow, edge, or blow grass while signs are displayed.
- Caution Please, for the safety of all, do not allow children or pets on or around the display. We cannot be held liable for injuries or damage caused to people, property, or pets while touching or playing around the display.
- No Tape Please do not use tape on our signs, tie balloons, streamers, or any other decorations to our display. If you need an additional yard stake or two for balloons, let us know.
- Please Don't Move Sign Please do not touch, move, or adjust our signs for any reason. If the display must be taken down early, contact us as soon as possible and we will take care of the removal.
- Business Sign We will place a business sign in your yard with our contact information. It will be placed off to the side of the display and out of the view of photos you may take. Please do not move or obstruct the view of the sign.
- Marketing 828 Yard Signs reserves the right to include photographs of the display for our social media and other marketing needs. Enjoy and take lots of photos; be sure to tag us (@828yardsigns) on social media and leave us a review.
Other Legal Stuff
- Sign Damage All signs remain 828 Yard Signs property. Any damage, destruction, or tampering with the yard greeting is prohibited. Signs should not be moved without consent from 828 Yard Signs. You are responsible for the replacement cost of the graphic, letter, or stake at full replacement value. Full payment for any signs that are damaged will be enforced.
- Inclement Weather We will not be able to deliver your 828 Yard Signs greeting if there is lightning or other hazardous weather conditions that prevent set up and or take down. In the event of prohibitive weather or inclement weather, if we are unable to reschedule the greeting a refund will be honored.
- The Fine Print Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the owners, officers, and employees of 828 Yard Signs from liability and claim for any and all losses, penalties, settlement costs, damages, professional fees, or other charges arising from 828 Yard Signs performance under this rental agreement. The agreement is in effect for the duration of the rental period as defined by the rental agreement.
